SUHUY-BEH:  EL CAMINO DE LA PUREZA

Suhuy beh, el Camino de la Pureza, es el camino que seguían los mayas de la antigüedad para lograr la trascendencia de la dualidad, del mundo material, el plano de la Tierra (yokol kab) en que se desenvuelve la vida en este planeta, para así poder llegar al ombligo del universo, la conciencia cósmica: Tzab, la constelación de las Pléyades.

Cuando el dios del Maíz creó el universo, primero tuvo que hacer un viaje por el Inframundo, un viaje de purificación que haría en una canoa por las aguas que corren bajo la tierra, en el mundo de abajo, para el que sería ayudado por los dioses remeros: Dios Espina de Mantarraya y Dios Jaguar. Observando las diversas imágenes y figuras del Dios del Maíz, se puede apreciar que se trata de un ser que resurge de las fauces de una serpiente, símbolo de la fuerza de la creación, como un individuo andrógino, de bellas facciones y siempre joven. Algunos antiguos gobernantes, como Hanab Pakal de Palenque, tras su muerte fueron concebidos y representados como la personificación misma del Dios del Maíz, surgiendo como tal después de un viaje de purificación y transfiguración por el inframundo. El camino del inframundo, o Xibalbej en maya, es también denominado Sakbej, es decir la Vía Láctea, la Ceiba Cósmica que el propio Hunnal-yeh, el Dios del Maíz, levantó cuando creó el universo. Al final de este camino se cree que existe otra ceiba, a través de la cual se asciende al cielo. Los seres humanos que han entrado a la Vía Láctea, si logran llegar al final de este camino, trascienden su corporeidad, el mundo material, la dualidad: día/noche, caliente/frío, masculino/femenino, por ello renacen transfigurados como un ser andrógino, a la vez que eternamente joven e inmortal.

El Dios del Maíz es lo que en la epigrafía se denomina "variante de cabeza" del número 8, por ello el rey Hanab Pakal de Palenque fué enterrado con 8 pulseras de jade en su muñeca izquierda, pues renacería como el Dios del Maíz mismo. El ocho simboliza la trascendencia de la dualidad, del 7, suma del 4 (lo masculino) y el 3 (lo femenino), corporalmente representado como el octavo chacra, ubicado fuera del cuerpo físico. El Dios del Maíz en este tiempo, del fin de un ciclo de la cuenta larga (el baktún 13) representa la posibilidad para el ser humano de trascender la dualidad, de elevar su conciencia para desprenderse de sus apegos, para convertirse él mismo en el Dios del Maíz, renaciendo como un ser andrógino y eternamente joven, es decir como inmortal, como la divinidad misma.

El camino para alcanzar la inmortalidad es la enseñanza que nos dejaron los mayas antiguos, seguir este camino implica disciplina y conocimiento.

SUHUY-BEH: THE WAY OF PURITY

Suhuy beh, the Way of Purity, is the way the ancient Maya followed to achieve transcendence of duality, the material world, the plane of the Earth (yokol kab) in which life unfolds on this planet, in order to reach the center of the universe, cosmic consciousness: Tzab, the constellation of the Pleiades.

When the Corn God created the universe, he first had to make a trip through the underworld, a journey of purification in a canoe on the waters flowing under the earth, in the world below, for which he would be aided by the rower gods: God Sting Ray Spine and God Jaguar. Noting the various images and figures of the Corn God, we can see that this is a being that rises from the jaws of a serpent, symbol of the power of creation, as an androgynous individual, with fine features and forever young. Some former rulers, such as Hanab Pakal of Palenque, after thier death were conceived and represented as the very embodiment of the Corn God, becoming such after a journey of purification and transfiguration through the underworld. The way of the underworld, or Xibalbej in Maya, is also called Sakbej, the Milky Way, the Cosmic Ceiba that Hunnal-yeh himself, the Corn God, rose up when he created the universe. At the end of this road, it is believed that there is another ceiba, through which one ascends to heaven. Human beings, who have entered the Milky Way and reach the end of this road, transcend their corporal body and the material world of duality: day/night; hot/cold; male/female, to be reborn as a transfigured androgynes, ageless and immortal.

The Corn God is what is called in epigraphy "head variant" of the number 8, so Hanab Pakal, King of Palenque, was buried with 8 jade bracelets on his left wrist, symbolizing that he would be reborn as the Corn God himself. Eight symbolizes the transcendence of duality*, physically represented as the eighth chakra, located above the physical body.

The Corn God, at the end of the long count cycle (baktun 13) in the year 2012, represents the possibility for human beings to transcend duality, to raise their awareness, to let go of their attachments, in other words, to turn themselves into the Corn God, reborn as androgynes, ageless and as immortal as divinity itself.

The way to achieve immortality is the Suhuy-beh, the path of purity, which the ancient Maya themselves followed. Like all true paths, it requires discipline and knowledge.

This is the message of 2012.

This road is the suhuy-beh the way of purity.

*In Maya cosmology, the number three represents the feminine, and the number four represents the masculine. The sum of three plus four equals seven, so the number seven represents duality. The number eight, therefore, transcends duality.

  

  Der Weg der Läuterung

 

Suhuy beh, der Weg der Läuterung, ist der Weg dem die antiken Mayas folgten mit dem Ziel, die Dualität  der materiellen Welt zu transzendieren. Diese ist die Erdebene (yokol kab) auf der sich das Leben unseres Planeten entfaltet. Der Weg der Läuterung führt zum Ursprung des Universums, des kosmischen Bewusstseins: Tzab, die Sternenkonstellation der Pleyaden.

Als der Maisgott das Universum erschuf musste er zuerst die Unterwelt durchqueren – eine Reise der Läuterung, unternommen in einem Kanu durch die unterirdischen Gewässer. Dabei standen ihm „Gott Rochenstachel“ und „Gott Jaguar“ zur Seite. Auf verschiedenen Abbildungen wird der Maisgott als ein androgynes Wesen mit ästhetischen, jungen Gesichtszügen dargestellt, das aus dem Maul einer Schlange emporsteigt. Die Schlange symbolisiert Stärke und Kreation. Einige antike Herrscher, wie zum Beispiel Hanab Pakal von Palenque, wurden nach ihrem Tod als die Personifikation des Maisgottes angesehen und dargestellt. Sie erscheinen aus der Unterwelt, vergöttlicht nach einer Reise der Reinigung und Transfiguration. Der Weg der Unterwelt, Xibalbej in Maya, wird auch Sakbej oder „Weisser Weg“ genannt, womit die Milchstrasse gemeint ist. Diese ist gleichbedeutend mit dem kosmischen Ceiba – Baum, welchen Hunnal – Yeh, der Maisgott, errichtete als er das Universum schuf. Am Ende dieses Weges befindet sich, so glaubt man, ein weiterer Ceiba – Baum, an dem man zum Himmel emporsteigen kann. Die Menschen, die in die Milchstrasse eingetreten sind und ihr Ende erreicht haben transzendieren ihre Körperlichkeit und die materielle Welt, die Dualität: Tag/Nacht, kalt/heiss, männlich/weiblich, sie erfahren eine Erneuerung als androgyne, ewig junge und unsterbliche Wesen.

Der Maisgott wird in der Epigraphie als “Variante de Cabeza” (Kopfvariante) der Nummer 8 dargestellt, daher wurde der König  von Palenque Hanab Pakal mit 8 Armbänder aus Jade an seinem linken Arm bestattet, in der Annahme seiner Wiedergeburt als der Maisgott selbst. Die Zahl 8 symbolisiert die Transzendenz der Dualität, der 7, Summe der 4 (das Männliche) und der 3 (das Weibliche), repräsentiert durch das achte Chakra welches sich außerhalb des physischen Körpers befindet. Der Maisgott repräsentiert am Ende des Zyklus der Langen Zählung (Baktun 13) im Jahr 2012 die den Menschen mögliche Transzendenz der Dualität, die Erweiterung seines Bewusstseins zur Befreiung von seinen Anhaftungen. Der Mensch  verwandelt sich somit in den Maisgott, wiedergeboren als ein androgynes Wesen, ewig jung und unsterblich, wie die Göttlichkeit selbst.

Der Weg zur Unsterblichkeit ist die Lehre, die uns die antiken Mayas hinterlassen haben, dieser Weg bedarf der Disziplin, des Wissens und Bewusstseins.

Dies ist die wahre Bedeutung des Jahres 2012.
